REPUBLIC Rules the Billboard 200 Top 10 With 8 Albums, Led by Taylor Swift
Republic and its affiliated labels have eight of the ten albums on the latest Billboard 200, led by Taylor Swift’s *The Life of a Showgirl* at No. 1. It is the third time the group has achieved this since Luminate data began powering the chart in 1991, making Republic the only label group to reach that mark.
The other Republic-linked albums include releases by Morgan Wallen, Noah Kahan, Drake, Olivia Dean and Greta Van Fleet. Olivia Rodrigo’s album is No. 2 and Ella Langley’s is No. 4; with Rodrigo’s release, parent company Universal Music Group has nine of the top ten, a feat only UMG has achieved since 1991. The chart combines sales and streaming into equivalent album units.
