‘The Beatles Story’ Exhibit Is Getting a Bigger and Better Showcase in Liverpool

Rolling Stone ·

The Beatles Story exhibition will move from Albert Dock to the former St Johns Market site opposite Liverpool Lime Street station, in a major expansion led by Apple Corps Ltd. The larger attraction is intended to give the band’s history a prominent new home in their birthplace and support Liverpool’s cultural life.

The new experience will cover 100,000 square feet and include recreated locations such as the Cavern, Abbey Road and Shea Stadium, using sets and props from Sam Mendes’s Beatles film series, due in April 2028. Ticket proceeds will support the Apple Corps Liverpool Trust, which backs emerging artists in the city; a separate Beatles experience at 3 Savile Row in London is planned for 2027.
