Huang presents Nvidia’s plan for AI across industries at Berlin keynote

The Register ·

At Nvidia’s GTC keynote in Berlin, chief executive Jensen Huang presented the company’s technology as a foundation for AI across data centres, robotics, cars and telecoms networks. The event was briefly interrupted by environmental protesters, while Huang argued that AI would become central to businesses and industries worldwide.

Nvidia’s DSX POD containerised data centre design combines seven liquid-cooled Vera Rubin racks and is expected in early 2027; the company says deployment at a prepared site could take as little as 14 days, compared with six months. Huang also showed Pollen Robotics’ voice-controlled Microducks and introduced Agile Robots’ humanoid research platform, planned for early 2027. He cited nearly $10 billion of Nvidia investment in Europe over the past year, while an analyst cautioned that reliance on non-European suppliers could complicate Europe’s ambitions for technological sovereignty.
