Jensen Huang’s Vision for Europe Runs on Plug-In Data Centers
Jensen Huang used Nvidia’s Berlin conference to argue that Europe should build and supply AI systems, rather than simply use them. His main announcement was a modular data centre called the DSX Pod, which Nvidia says can be installed quickly, potentially easing Europe’s slow infrastructure development.
The preassembled units contain Nvidia’s Vera Rubin computing racks and are designed to be brought online in 14 days, compared with months or years for conventional projects. Huang also highlighted plans with Volkswagen and Mercedes on autonomous vehicles, a robotics platform and a reference robot called Agile One due in the first quarter of next year. He predicted growing demand for computing as companies combine customised open models with closed models and use more AI agents.
