Boy, 15, convicted of attempted murder after school stabbing in Norfolk

Daily Mail ·

A 15-year-old boy stabbed a girl at Thorpe St Andrew School near Norwich in an unprovoked attack, prompting a lockdown and an armed police search. He has been convicted of attempted murder, and material found on his phone and in his bedroom has been presented as evidence of his interest in killers and hostility towards women.

Videos on the phone included AI-animated images of serial killers Edmund Kemper and Ted Bundy, as well as a montage of fictional killer Paul Spector captioned “Me btw”. Notes referred to wanting admiration, not caring who he hurt and hatred of women after a relationship failed; the teenager also wrote about bullying and suicide. His victim, also 15 at the time, suffered minor back injuries and left hospital the next day; the boy is now 16 and cannot be identified for legal reasons.
