Luka Doncic buys out entire parking lot to give Lakers fans free parking for season opener

Luka Doncic paid for an entire parking lot outside Crypto.com Arena so Lakers fans could park for free at the team’s season opener against the Golden State Warriors. He also partnered with Metro Bike Share to offer free rides across Los Angeles for the day, making a gesture aimed at welcoming fans as he takes on a leading role with the Lakers.

The article says downtown game-night parking can cost about $50, while food and drinks inside the arena remain expensive. Doncic is starting the campaign after a hamstring injury cut short his previous season; the piece frames winning the Lakers’ 18th championship as the main measure of his new era with the team.
