‘Blippi’ Spinoff ‘Meekah’ Set at Moonbug Entertainment, the Studio Behind ‘Cocomelon’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Moonbug Entertainment will launch “Meekah”, a “Blippi” spinoff starring Lauren Vaz as Blippi’s best friend, on its own YouTube channel on 7 November. The preschool series centres on movement, imaginative play and creative activities, inviting children to join in rather than only watch.

A Meekah music video, “Happy Place”, is due on 2 November, followed by the premiere episode, “Superhero Meekah Saves the City”, in which Meekah and a group of children outsmart a cardboard robot. Further plans include a “Bubble Pop” video and an episode about swimming and ocean life; new episodes are set for every other Saturday and will run for about 15 minutes. The programme targets children aged three to six and is based on Moonbug’s learning principles, including learning through play, positive relationships and inclusive storytelling.
