Lego Unveils Daft Punk Set Based on 2007 ‘Alive’ Tour, Short Film Collab Set to ‘Human After All’
Developing story first seen 1 hour ago
Lego and Daft Punk have launched a wider collaboration around the duo’s music and visual style, including a short film and further experiences still to come. The announcement puts fresh attention on a fan-designed Lego Ideas model of the pyramid stage from Daft Punk’s 2007 “Alive” tour, which has reached the support threshold to enter the next development stage.
The design was created by a father and son in Belgium, won a music-themed Lego Ideas competition in 2020 and has since gained 10,000 supporters. A 48-second launch film shows the duo as helmeted Lego Minifigures following a holographic red brick through a desert; its soundtrack draws on “Discovery” and “Human After All”. Lego and Daft Punk have not detailed the other planned events and content.
