Heather Morris & Chord Overstreet In Talks To Return For ‘Glee’ Reboot
Heather Morris and Chord Overstreet are in talks to reprise their roles as Brittany and Sam in a Disney+/Hulu reboot of “Glee”. Their potential return adds to Lea Michele’s reported talks to play Rachel Berry again, as the series begins to bring original cast members back.
Disney+ and Hulu ordered the reboot earlier this week, but no casting was announced with the series order. Co-creator Ryan Murphy said last month he had spoken with around 10 original cast members. The original series, set at a high school in Lima, Ohio, ran for six seasons from 2009 to 2015, won six Emmys and is available on Hulu.

Explained simply
Glee is a musical comedy-drama about students in a high-school singing club, known as a glee club, in Lima, Ohio. The original series ran for six seasons, from 2009 to 2015, and followed the students and the adults around them.
Heather Morris played Brittany Pierce, a member of the club, and Chord Overstreet played Sam Evans, who joined it later. Lea Michele played Rachel Berry, one of the club’s central singers. The series was created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan.
A reboot is a new version of an existing series, which may bring back familiar characters while introducing new ones. Glee’s original run won six Emmy Awards, and the series is available on Hulu.
