Explained simply
The Gentlemen is a crime drama created by filmmaker Guy Ritchie, expanding on his 2019 film of the same name. It centres on Eddie Horniman, played by Theo James, and Susie Glass, played by Kaya Scodelario, as they navigate organised crime and business interests.
The story follows Eddie’s inheritance of a family estate tied to a cannabis empire, bringing him into conflict and cooperation with criminal groups. Its mix of crime, family wealth and shifting alliances provides the background for the characters and new ventures in the series.
