Samara Joy Shares Debut Live Album ‘Live At The Blue Note L.A’

Samara Joy has released her first live album, *Live At The Blue Note L.A.*, documenting a performance with her touring septet at the Los Angeles jazz club. The release captures her in an intimate setting and adds a live recording to the work of a singer whose profile has helped bring jazz to a new generation.

The five-track set features Joy’s resonant, melismatic vocals alongside her seasoned band. Her latest studio album, *Portrait*, won her sixth Grammy, for Best Jazz Vocal Album, and marked a further step in her development as a vocalist, lyricist and bandleader. She is also scheduled to perform at London’s Royal Festival Hall on 22 November as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival.
