Casting Round-Up: Arthur McAlpine III To Recur On Starz Black Rodeo Drama; Gillian Nation Joins ‘Baywatch’ & Desmin Borges Cast In ‘Rose Hill’

Arthur McAlpine III, Gillian Nation and Desmin Borges have been cast in recurring roles in three upcoming television dramas. The announcements add to Starz’s untitled Black rodeo family series, Fox’s Baywatch revival and Prime Video’s adaptation of Rose Hill.

McAlpine joins an eight-episode drama set in Southeast Texas about three siblings and their family’s rodeo legacy. Nation will play Stevie, a lifeguard on Team Baywatch, in her first scripted series role; Stephen Amell stars as captain Hobie Buchannon, who reconnects with his previously unknown daughter. Borges joins Rose Hill, a romantic family drama based on Elsie Silver’s bestselling books, which centres on neighbours, family ties and a country-pop star arriving in town.
