My Chemical Romance Score First U.K. No. 1 With 20th Anniversary Edition of ‘The Black Parade’

My Chemical Romance have earned their first UK No. 1 album with *The Black Parade*, nearly 20 years after its original release. The chart-topping return follows a 20th-anniversary reissue, showing how the expanded edition brought the 2006 album to a new peak.

The reissue includes previously unreleased tracks and new live recordings; the album originally reached No. 2. Fontaines D.C.’s *Dopamine Chamber* fell to No. 2, Olivia Rodrigo’s album placed third, and Amy Winehouse’s *Back to Black* climbed 112 places to No. 4 after a reissue and tribute events. Michael Jackson’s *The Essential* rounded out the top five.
