Silent Hill: Townfall adds new Hard difficulty in latest update
Silent Hill: Townfall has added a Hard difficulty mode in update 1.6.0, alongside a rebalance of every existing difficulty. Konami says the changes aim to give players a smoother difficulty curve and clearer information when choosing how to play.
The update is available on PS5, Steam and the Epic Games Store. Enemy hearing becomes sharper at higher difficulties, resources have been adjusted in some sections, and the main enemy’s reduced attack severity now applies only in Story Mode; first-time players selecting Nightmare receive a warning. The patch also adds accessibility improvements, more hints and tutorials, reorganised options, PC DLSS Ray Reconstruction support and bug fixes.
