Who am I? Plus today’s other quizzes
BBC Sport offers several football quizzes, led by a game asking readers to identify a footballer using as few attempts as possible. The page also points to other daily challenges and quiz collections.
Wrong guesses reveal extra clues, and players score more points for needing fewer clues. Other quizzes include a five-question challenge with a five-minute limit, a difficult question with five lives, and tests on English league clubs and the most-capped Lionesses.
In short
- Guess a footballer using as few clues as possible.
- More daily football quizzes are available.
- Other challenges cover clubs and England caps.
Explained simply
BBC Sport is the BBC’s sports news service, and it publishes quizzes about football alongside its match coverage. The quizzes draw on players, clubs and teams from across the sport.
The Lionesses are England’s women’s national football team, and “most-capped” refers to players who have made the most appearances for their country. English league clubs compete in a system of divisions, with teams able to move between levels through promotion and relegation.
