Deadpool Star Ryan Reynolds Rumored to Be Working on New Marvel Movie

A leak claims Ryan Reynolds is writing a Marvel project centred on Alpha Flight, the Canadian superhero team. It is unclear whether the team would lead its own film or feature in a future Deadpool movie, but the report adds to speculation about Reynolds’ continued role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Alpha Flight first appeared in 1979 and had its own comic series from 1983 to 1995, spanning 130 issues. The leak also makes unconfirmed claims about a new actor taking over as Wolverine and several roles being considered for the upcoming X-Men film, which is scheduled for 5 May 2028.
