STONE TEMPLE PILOTS’ JEFF GUTT Is Completing Debut Album From WE ARE NOT MACHINES Project Featuring EVANESCENCE’s WILL HUNT

Stone Temple Pilots singer Jeff Gutt says he is completing the debut album by We Are Not Machines, his long-running project with Evanescence drummer Will Hunt. The record began about a decade ago and was left half-finished; Gutt says he wants to complete it and make music for the project’s own sake before deciding what comes next.

Gutt is working in Los Angeles with a different producer and expects a guitarist to join him in the studio. He said the group may play festivals or tour after the album is released, though scheduling will depend on commitments to Stone Temple Pilots, Evanescence and other musicians involved. Gutt joined Stone Temple Pilots in 2017, while Hunt has been part of the project for around ten years.
