Yaeji Plots a Dance Dance Revolution in New Single “DDR”
Yaeji has released “DDR”, a new single inspired by Dance Dance Revolution and accompanied by a footwork-heavy video. The track frames the dancefloor as a place where people can imagine a less suffocating world and look after one another.
Made with Enayet and K Wata, the song is Yaeji’s first single of 2026 and was released on XL. She is marking it with an all-night party at Paragon in Brooklyn on Friday, 6 November, alongside DJ Swisha, OSSX, Lil C and DJ Noir; it follows “Pondeggi” and “Booboo2”.
In short
- Yaeji’s new single “DDR” draws on Dance Dance Revolution.
