gyrofield – Great Jobs

Electronic producer gyrofield released her debut album, Great Jobs, on 21 October 2026 through Field Research, the label she founded earlier that year. The ten-track record follows Your Fight, the label’s first release. Its track list runs from the 54-second opener Birdsong to the closing track Ende, with Great Jobs (Don’t Wanna) and Ma Sacrée also appearing on the album.

The record draws on dub, post-punk and post-industrial music alongside electronic styles including drum and bass, EBM and IDM. Gyrofield has described its unconventional rhythms and structures as a way to explore identity, resistance and her response to political turmoil. Releasing the album on her own label also marks a new stage for an artist whose earlier work appeared on several established electronic music imprints.
