Cosy Witch RPG ‘Witchbrook’ Will Support Crossplay Between Switch 1 & 2 At Launch

Witchbrook will support crossplay between the original Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 from launch, reversing an earlier developer message that said the feature would arrive later. The change means players on either console can play together when the cosy witch-themed RPG releases, though crossplay with other platforms has not been confirmed.

The game is due out on 28 January, following a delay announced last October so the developer could expand its world and characters. A developer first posted on the Witchbrook Discord that Switch-to-Switch 2 crossplay would be added after launch, then corrected the update the following week to confirm it would be available at launch.
