Dutch Uncles Confirm New Album ‘Polygon Hotel’
Dutch Uncles have announced their new album, *Polygon Hotel*, due on 19 February, followed by a UK tour that includes a London show on 18 March. The record marks a new phase for the art-pop band, with singer Duncan Wallis drawing on settling in Levenshulme after more than a decade on the road.
The album was produced and mixed by the band and mastered by Felix Davis. Its new single, “No Notes”, began with a marimba line and reflects on time lost to phones and social media; Wallis says its lyrics took only five minutes to write. The accompanying video, made by animator Miles Buckle, uses early PlayStation-inspired graphics and features the band in comic scenes.
In short
- Dutch Uncles’ *Polygon Hotel* arrives on 19 February.
