Explained simply
Magic: The Gathering is a collectible card game in which players use cards representing creatures, spells and equipment to compete. Sword of Truth and Justice is an equipment card: it can be attached to a creature and gives it added abilities, which has made the card sought after by some players and collectors.
Secret Lair is a series of limited-time Magic releases that reprint existing cards with specially commissioned artwork. The Rise of the Polygons collection draws on the blocky look of late-1990s 3D games, and is linked to Extra Life, a fundraising campaign supporting children’s hospitals. Half of the purchase price is set to go to those hospitals.
