English female coach Kaminski reaping rewards in Norway
Laura Kaminski has won the Norwegian league and cup double in her first season as head coach of SK Brann, ten months after leaving England for the role. The success marks a strong start to her first coaching job abroad and adds European experience to her career.
The 38-year-old previously led Crystal Palace to the WSL 2 title and promotion in 2024, but left after the club struggled in the WSL. In Norway, she says she has learned from a more attack-minded, high-pressing style, while making 65 flights in 11 months and living apart from her family. Brann’s season is not over: the club is also competing for a place in the Europa Cup quarter-finals.
