TV & Movie Lovers Can Save Big on Streaming With a Phone Plan From These Networks
T-Mobile and Verizon offer mobile plans or add-ons that include or discount streaming services, which may help customers reduce the cost of subscriptions they already use. The deals matter because streaming bundles remain uncommon among wireless providers, but their value depends on whether customers want the included services and account for the plan’s full price.
T-Mobile’s Experience More 2.0 costs $85 a month and includes Netflix Standard with ads; Apple TV is an extra $3 monthly. Its $100 Experience Beyond 2.0 plan adds Hulu and 250GB of hotspot data, with advertised savings that depend on which benefits are used. From 5 November, T-Mix lets customers choose perks across three plan tiers. Verizon offers add-ons including a Netflix and HBO Max bundle for $13 a month, compared with a stated combined retail price of $19.98; AT&T, Mint Mobile and Spectrum’s standalone mobile plans do not include streaming subscriptions.
In short
- Some T-Mobile plans include Netflix and Hulu.
- Verizon sells discounted streaming add-ons.
- Savings depend on which services customers use.
