‘Weapons’ Stars Officially Reunite in First Look at Chilling New Political Thriller

*The Exit State* is a political horror thriller set in a near-future United States under authoritarian rule, where dissidents, journalists and others who value freedom flee as refugees. A group find shelter in a safe house near the Mexican border, but the retreat proves dangerous as the regime’s forces close in.

An exclusive preview clip follows residents Andrew and Claire on a night hike, where Claire challenges Andrew’s claim to be an agitator because he only became political after the government seized his assets. The pair are played by Clayton Farris and Callie Schuttera, reuniting after *Weapons*. Directed by Gabriela Ledesma, the film is now available digitally through Chroma and also stars Nikki Dixon, Jeremy D. Howard, Cindy Nguyen, Stakiah Lynn Washington and Sharon Lawrence.
