Hilary Duff Opens Up About What It Was Like to Bring Her 4 Kids — and Husband — on Tour

Hilary Duff has spoken about the family decisions behind her return to touring, saying she and her husband, Matthew Koma, had serious discussions about bringing a world tour into family life. She felt anxious about being away from her children but also wanted to pursue music, which she described as central to who she is.

Duff took all four children on the road during a tour that ran from June to late October, with travelling nannies helping care for them. She said the children enjoyed seeing her perform, but balancing full-time parenting and touring was overwhelming, and she joked that she did not want to repeat that summer. Her next dates begin in January and run through late autumn 2027, with breaks planned; her latest album reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200.
