Teyonah Parris To Co-Star With Denzel Washington In Christopher McQuarrie’s Thriller For United Artists

Teyonah Parris is set to co-star with Denzel Washington in an untitled thriller directed by Christopher McQuarrie for Amazon MGM Studios and United Artists. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on 1 October, and centres on family reconciliation and the consequences of a detective’s past.

Washington plays a former police detective serving a life sentence who is given compassionate release after being diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and told he has six months to live. He returns to his estranged daughter and an unknown grandson, hoping to make amends, but his past catches up with him. Scott Barkan and Gregg Zehentner wrote the screenplay; McQuarrie is also among the producers.
