Tim Robbins & Giancarlo Esposito Join Apple TV’s Wyatt Russell-Led Monsterverse Series

Tim Robbins and Giancarlo Esposito have joined Apple TV’s upcoming Monsterverse series as guest stars, expanding the cast around Wyatt Russell, who reprises his role as Lee Shaw. The casting adds two established actors to a story set during the Cold War.

The series follows Col. Lee Shaw on a secret mission behind enemy lines in 1984 to stop the Soviets unleashing a Titan capable of destroying the United States and changing the course of the Cold War. Showrunner Joby Harold leads a cast that also includes Millie Brady, Pilou Asbæk, Corey Stoll, Ralph Ineson, Nyasha Hatendi, Connie Nielsen and Stana Katic. The series is part of Legendary’s Monsterverse, which began with 2014’s *Godzilla*.
