‘Mass Effect’ Studio’s Final Chapter Is Officially Being Turned Into a Documentary
An independent documentary about BioWare is in production, with a world premiere at major festivals targeted for 2027. Its producers say they will cover the studio’s rise and final chapter following Electronic Arts’ announcement of its closure last month.
Directed by Akash Sherman, the film features BioWare founders Ray Muzyka, Greg Zeschuk and Augustine Yip, alongside developers and performers including Casey Hudson and Jennifer Hale. Canadian broadcaster Super Channel commissioned it, and fans can submit stories, photos and videos for possible inclusion; a specific premiere date and wider release plans have not been announced.
