ASCAP Unveils Mental Health Initiative for Members in Partnership With Project Healthy Minds
ASCAP has partnered with Project Healthy Minds to give its songwriter, composer and music publisher members access to mental health services and wellness tools. The initiative aims to make support easier to find throughout creators’ careers, building on ASCAP’s wellness programme and responding to barriers to affordable, quality care.
Members can privately connect with vetted providers offering talk therapy and psychiatry, peer-led and expert-moderated support groups, and self-care apps and digital tools. The partnership follows ASCAP’s 2019 wellness initiative, which expanded earlier this year to include MD Live telehealth services; access details are on ASCAP’s member portal.
In short
- ASCAP members will gain access to mental health services and wellness tools.
- The partnership includes therapy, psychiatry, support groups and digital resources.
- Access information is available through ASCAP’s member portal.
