Police arrest two people after child neglect probe launched at UK nursery

Gwent Police have arrested two people on suspicion of child neglect as they investigate allegations involving a nursery in Blackwood, Wales. The investigation began after a tip-off from Caerphilly County Borough Council; police say enquiries are continuing at the site.

The nursery has not been named, but is on Bridge Street. The suspects are a 49-year-old man from Cardiff and a 29-year-old woman from the Caerphilly area. Police have urged people not to speculate online, saying this could affect the investigation, and asked anyone with relevant information to contact them.
