Wardogs Season 3 Will Add A Mode That Limits What Weapons Players Can Use
Wardogs will add Limited Mode when Season 3 begins on 12 November, offering a version of the game with restrictions on weapons, upgrades and vehicles. The mode is intended to help reduce the advantage of players who have progressed further, giving newcomers a more level way to play.
Bulkhead says it will make fewer reactive changes in response to vocal community demands after backlash over Season 2. Progression will move closer to Season 1, seasons will last three months, and multi-track unlocks will let some items be earned through different progression paths. Limited Mode will cap armour at tier two and restrict weapons and ammunition; its cash and XP can be used in the standard mode. Anti-cheat improvements are also planned. Wardogs remains in early access on Windows PC, with a full launch planned for 2027 and consoles to follow in 2028.
In short
