Developing story first seen 2 hours ago
Grinding Gear Games has revealed the additions planned for Path of Exile 2’s 1.0 launch on 11 December, including the final two campaign acts, a stealth-focused class and a new endgame league. The update will mark the game’s exit from early access and gives players new story content as well as reasons to keep playing afterwards.
Acts 5 and 6 add 24 areas and 18 bosses. The Shadow can lay traps, extend stealth through chained kills and summon Shades; its Ascendancies are Assassin and Infiltrator, while Duelists gain the Knight Ascendancy. The update also reworks more than 70 unique items, adds 40 new items and 70 Atlas Passive Tree nodes, and introduces the Conquerors of Wraeclast league with reforging, Atlas commanders and faction-based castle sieges. The launch is planned for PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox Series X and Mac.
