Delightful Delap and outfought Anderson – Forest v Man City player ratings

Nottingham Forest beat Manchester City, with Liam Delap scoring twice against his former club to secure a striking victory. The result gave City a third consecutive Premier League defeat, while Forest’s determined display exposed weaknesses in the visitors’ defence and midfield.

Delap earned a rating of 9 for two powerful finishes; defender Jair Cunha, who scored Forest’s opener and cleared a shot off the line, received 8. Rayan Cherki scored a fine second-half goal for City, but Forest restored their lead and added a third; City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma was rated 4 after conceding three.
