Celine Dion returned to Metallica’s Sphere residency in Las Vegas on 7 November, enjoying the concert alongside Jack Black and rocking out to “Enter Sandman”. After the show, she met the band backstage and shared photos of the encounter, including pictures with her sons.
Dion thanked James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, Robert Trujillo and the Metallica organisation, saying her family loved the show. Her interest in the band is longstanding: she previously included Metallica’s “Until It Sleeps” on a playlist. The appearance comes as Dion resumes live performances after stepping away because of stiff-person syndrome; she opened a 26-show Paris residency in September.
