Leaders Lazio held by Napoli as Inter move within a point at the top
Lazio remain top of Serie A but saw their advantage cut to one point after a 1-1 draw at Napoli. Inter Milan’s 2-0 win over Como brought them closer to the leaders, tightening the race near the top of the table.

In short
- Lazio drew 1-1 at Napoli and lead Serie A by one point.
- Inter beat Como 2-0 to reach 28 points.
- Roma and Lazio are both unbeaten after 11 matches.
Explained simply
Serie A is Italy’s top men’s football league, where clubs play a season of matches to decide the final table. Lazio, based in Rome, are among the teams competing near the top, alongside Milan club Inter and fellow Rome side Roma.
The table is decided by points: teams earn three for a win and one for a draw. Because the leading clubs are close together, results can quickly change who is in front, while matches between teams from the same city can carry local rivalry.
