Tim Tebow launches faith-based platform producing short-form vertical microdramas

The Hollywood Reporter · 8 hours ago

Tim Tebow, the former NFL quarterback and vocal evangelical Christian, is executive producing content for Lighthouse Verticals, a new microdrama platform focused on faith-based entertainment that is set to launch in November 2026. The venture matters because it marks an attempt to extend the fast-growing short-form vertical drama industry—until now dominated by romance and, increasingly, genres such as true crime and thrillers—into the faith-and-family space, an audience its founders argue has been overlooked by the sector's biggest platforms.

Lighthouse Verticals is co-founded by filmmaker Brent Ryan Green, Jesse Liddell (who will serve as chief executive), Justin Levy and Scott Holroyd. It will feature work from Tebow's Studio316, established by The Tebow Group, alongside Snow Story Productions, with the two firms slated to collaborate on more than 30 projects spanning romance, comedy, drama and family themes for multiple age groups. The platform will launch its own app, currently in beta, which will monetise the short-form content and, unusually, include "community hubs" allowing viewers to watch and discuss series together live, though specifics remain undisclosed.
