Brazilian influencer and model Kauana Bilhar, 27, has died after falling from the 27th floor of a high-rise building in Dubai, prompting a police investigation. Authorities have not established the circumstances and say they are considering the possibility of an accident, suicide, homicide or femicide, leaving the cause of death unresolved. Bilhar had built a substantial online following through her modelling work and travel content, which is why her death has drawn wide attention.

Her death was confirmed by her mother, Darla Bilhar, on 7 July, though the exact date of the death remains unclear. Darla has travelled to Dubai to follow the investigation and to arrange for her daughter's body to be returned to Brazil, and has publicly demanded respect after her daughter's social media accounts were flooded with malicious comments and accusations. In one of her final posts, dated 25 June and believed to be her last, Bilhar celebrated her engagement to her partner, Barbara Abrantes.
