"It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" will return for its 18th season on 17 August, airing across FX, FXX and Hulu in the US, with international streaming on Disney+. The new season will comprise 10 episodes, an increase from the eight-episode runs of the previous three seasons. The Gang's storylines this time include salvaging an inheritance, workplace automation, conspiracy theories, a Renaissance Faire clash and sponsoring a Little League team, with promises of star cameos and nods to Philadelphia traditions. The season is executive produced by creator Rob Mac alongside Charlie Day, Glenn Howerton and several other longtime producers, with FX Productions behind the show.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is a US comedy about a group of self-centred friends who run an unsuccessful Irish bar in Philadelphia. The show follows their often misguided attempts to make money, gain attention or solve personal problems, usually creating more trouble instead.
It was created by Rob McElhenney, who also plays Mac, alongside Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton. The main cast also includes Kaitlin Olson as Dee Reynolds and Danny DeVito as Frank Reynolds; together, the characters are commonly known as “the Gang”.
