Sega has revealed the playable line-up for its Gamescom 2026 booth, which will feature Alien: Isolation 2 and Crazy Taxi: World Tour, both confirmed for Switch 2. However, attendees are likely to try PC or PS5 builds rather than Switch 2 versions at the show itself, as those releases are not yet playable in that form. The event, running in Cologne, Germany, from 26th to 30th August 2026, matters as an early signal of Sega's upcoming release slate and platform priorities.

Also present will be Metaphor: ReFantazio, which is heading to Switch 2 ahead of its 12th November 2026 launch, alongside Persona 4 Revival, Stranger Than Heaven and Total War: Warhammer 40,000 — none of which have been confirmed for Switch 2 so far. Alien: Isolation 2 will offer a playable prologue in an atmospheric booth setting, Crazy Taxi: World Tour will let players race through one of five planned cities, and Total War: Warhammer 40,000 will debut hands-on across three Space Marine-led scenarios.
