Brooklyn collective Standing On The Corner have announced a proper release for their album SOTC ("II"), which was previously only sold as a $50 DVD from a street vendor in Times Square last year. The record will now come out on 9 September 2026 (US date "9/11"), exactly a year after that unconventional debut, giving wider access to a project that had until now been deliberately hard to hear.

The 15-track album features collaborators including Solange, Danny Brown, Styles P of the Lox, and Digable Planets' Ladybug Mecca, and includes the previously released single "Gimme My Gun". To mark the announcement, the group have shared two new psychedelic lo-fi funk tracks, "Mr. Postman, wait!" (which appears on the album) and "Splitting Moonlight" (which does not); Solange is credited on "Mr. Postman, wait!", though it remains unclear whether she provides lead vocals given the track's heavy distortion. SOTC ("II") will be released via XL Recordings.
