BTS have released the music video for "NORMAL," premiering exclusively on Spotify for 48 hours before wider release. Directed by Ukrainian filmmaker Tanu Muino, the video shows the seven members recovering from a big night out in a grand old mansion, capturing what a statement describes as "deeply personal and intimate moments." The release matters as it builds on the momentum of BTS's latest album, extending their commercial dominance across singles and albums charts.

"NORMAL" is the second single from BTS's fifth studio album ARIRANG, following "SWIM," which topped the Billboard Hot 100 in April as ARIRANG itself hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200, both becoming the group's seventh chart-toppers in their respective categories. Interscope/Capitol Records will push "NORMAL" to pop radio from the week of 27 July. The video's release coincides with BTS's ongoing European tour, with shows in Paris this weekend, ahead of the group joining Justin Bieber, Madonna and Shakira as co-headliners of the first FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show at MetLife Stadium on 19 July.
