007 First Light Hits Major Sales Milestone, Still Confirmed For Switch 2
007 First Light, IO Interactive's Bond game published with Amazon MGM Studios, has surpassed 4 million copies sold in the three months since its 27th May 2026 launch. The milestone suggests strong performance for the Hitman developer's new franchise and points to further Bond games being likely, while the studio has also reconfirmed that a Nintendo Switch 2 version remains in development.
However, the timeline for that Switch 2 release has become less precise: IO Interactive previously indicated a Summer launch window but now says only that it will arrive "later in 2026", raising the possibility it could slip as far as December. No firm release date has been given, but the developer maintains the port is still on track despite the vaguer wording.
- 007 First Light has sold over 4 million copies since May 2026.
- Switch 2 version still confirmed, but delayed beyond Summer.
- New timing suggests a release as late as December 2026.
