Sydney musician Michael Barker, performing as 1-800-MIKEY, has released “Pleasant Morning”, the second single from his forthcoming album In Yun. The track reinforces his position on the more melodic, power-pop side of Australia’s punk and garage-rock scene, pairing crunchy guitars with lyrics about protecting a good day from disruption.

Barker is also a member of Gee Tee and RMFC, and previously introduced the album with lead single “Me And My Only”. “Pleasant Morning” arrives with a video directed by Giovanni Alexander; In Yun is due out on 4 September through Goner Records.
