3 One-Hit Wonder Lyrics From 1992 That Every 90s Kid Remembers

The article revisits three songs released in 1992 whose lyrics may be familiar to listeners who grew up in the 1990s. It highlights Lo-Key’s “I Got A Thang 4 Ya!”, Blind Melon’s “No Rain” and Green Jellö’s “Three Little Pigs”, with the latter becoming a major hit the following year.

Lo-Key’s track reached No. 27 on the Billboard chart and topped the Billboard Hot R&B Singles chart. “No Rain”, from Blind Melon’s self-titled album, reached the Billboard Top 20 and drew on bassist Brad Smith’s personal experiences and a former partner’s depression. “Three Little Pigs” was first released in 1992 under the name Green Jellö; MTV rotation helped it become a smash hit in 1993.
