Polygon has launched Wishlister, a new weekly newsletter and article series highlighting upcoming Steam games worth adding to players' wishlists. The debut edition coincides with Gamescom in Germany, which showcased a wealth of new titles across streams such as Opening Night Live and the Future Games Show, giving the site plenty of material to feature in its first outing.

The inaugural list spans six varied titles: Pony Island 2: Panda Circus, a surreal follow-up from Inscryption creator Daniel Mullins; Acornia: Mirror Worlds, a genre-blending action-card-management game from the Tinykin developers; Dungeons & Dragons: Long Rest Tavern, a cosy tavern management sim; RollerCoaster Tycoon Wonderworks, a mainline series revival from Let's Build a Zoo studio Springloaded; Murals, an original hack-and-slash from Disney Illusion Island developer Dlala Studios; and Lego Skylines, a Lego-themed city-builder spun off from the Cities: Skylines franchise.
