7 Years Later, ‘Game of Thrones’ Officially Revives Daenerys Targaryen

Daenerys Targaryen is set to return to the Game of Thrones franchise in the mobile strategy game Game of Thrones: Legends, seven years after the original series ended. Her appearance is part of a new in-game event, rather than a return to the television shows, whose spin-offs are set in earlier periods.

The event, called Robb’s War, runs from 5 to 9 November and features Daenerys as the Conqueror of Qarth, alongside Robb Stark, Olenna Tyrell and other characters. The article says there are no confirmed plans to bring original characters such as Jon Snow or Arya Stark back in new screen productions.
