Developing story first seen 2 hours ago
The newly announced documentary *Massive Effect: The BioWare Story* will chart the studio’s 31-year history and its closure by Electronic Arts, with a release expected next year. Filming began two years before BioWare shut, giving the filmmakers a record of its final period.
Commissioned by Canada’s Super Channel, the film will feature founders Ray Muzyka, Greg Zeschuk and Augustine Yip, as well as *Mass Effect* director Casey Hudson, voice actor Jennifer Hale and former EA chief John Riccitiello. Fans can submit photos, videos, cosplay, art and other memories; when it closed, BioWare had around 50 workers and was beginning work on the next *Mass Effect* game.
