Ceva Logistics, one of the world's largest shipping and logistics firms, has suffered a cyberattack that has exposed customer data and disrupted operations across at least eight European warehouses. The breach, which reportedly began on 29 July, is causing shipping delays and has affected numerous companies that rely on Ceva to deliver goods to customers, highlighting the growing vulnerability of logistics firms to cybercriminals seeking to disrupt supply chains or access valuable goods.

Companies affected include Dutch retailer Bol, luxury retailer De Bijenkorf, football club Ajax, banking giant ING, eyewear brand Ace & Tate, and video game company Valve, which warned Steam hardware customers that their personal details had been compromised. Stolen data reportedly includes names, home addresses, phone numbers and email addresses. Ceva, a France-headquartered firm that generated $18.3 billion in revenue in 2025 and operates over a thousand warehouses worldwide, confirmed the intrusion but said the impact was limited to the eight affected sites, with an investigation ongoing and Dutch authorities involved. The company has not disclosed the scale of data taken or whether hackers have made any ransom demands.
