Jack O’Connell has confirmed that he and Cillian Murphy will play brothers in the upcoming A Quiet Place Part III. The casting adds a new family connection to a franchise centred on survival and family, while Murphy is set to return as Emmett, who lost his wife and children during the alien invasion.

Emily Blunt will reprise her role as Evelyn Abbott, and John Krasinski is returning to direct. The films have been major box-office successes: the 2018 original earned about $341 million worldwide on a $17 million budget, followed by $297 million for the 2021 sequel and $262 million for the 2024 prequel.
